Dramus Juniors is the youth division of Dramus Theatre Inc., offering children aged 7 to 15 the opportunity to explore the exciting world of performance in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Revived in 2023 after a decade-long hiatus, Dramus Juniors aims to foster creativity, confidence, and community through theatre. Our weekly workshops focus on developing fundamental stage skills such as voice, movement, character work, and improvisation, while encouraging teamwork and self-expression.

A key part of our philosophy is nurturing connection, both on and off the stage. We place strong emphasis on building a sense of belonging, encouraging interpersonal awareness, and helping children develop meaningful relationships with one another as they collaborate creatively.

Each year, participants have the opportunity to take part in a staged theatrical production, as well as engage in community performance experiences, such as the Hamilton Eisteddfod, where they can share their growth with a wider audience.
At Dramus Juniors, every child is encouraged to take part regardless of experience, with a strong commitment to creating a space where young people feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

Dramus Juniors students have had a wide range of performing opportunities, including a production of the Wizard of Oz, improvisation skits and even writing and performing their own shows! The results have been outstanding, with many reviews about the quality of the shows and just how much fun the kids were having on stage.
